As a social media and marketing manager, I'm always on the hunt for fresh ways to make the ever-elusive Instagram Algorithm happy. You know, that fickle social media deity that seems to change its mind every other day. No matter how many hashtags or trendy audios you throw into the mix, getting a wider reach feels like trying to catch smoke. Why? Because the Instagram Algorithm is a shape-shifter, always keeping us on our toes.


All those tips and tricks you thought were golden? Well, chances are they're already gathering dust in the digital attic. But don't fret! I'm here to spill the beans on some tricks I've dug up to win over the Instagram Algorithm in October 2023.


1. Streamlined Hashtags for Impact


In yesteryears, hashtags were the golden ticket to expanding your audience. Nowadays, it's all about keeping it concise. Using a mere 3-5 hashtags works like magic to win the algorithm's favor. Instead of cluttering your post with a laundry list of tags, focus on crafting captions that genuinely resonate with your content. Throw in some engaging calls to action, and you're on your way. When your caption aligns seamlessly with your post's niche, it serves as a beacon for users genuinely interested in your brand, guiding them right to your content.

Making your posts accessible isn't just about inclusivity; it's also a secret handshake with the Algorithm. Go the extra mile by adding an accessible caption. Simply navigate to advanced settings, hit accessibility, and write alt text before sharing your post to your feed.
